Thursday!

Another day at New Beginnings Camp and it was a blast!

Today we learned that God's way is the BEST way! This was shown to us through the stories of Jericho and Gideon. What faith these men had to obey God's instruction, even when it didn't sound like such a great plan to them!

During Wild Thing we got...WILD!!! The kids (okay...the adults too) have so much fun singing silly songs and getting crazy!

The boys of cabin 2 have really stepped up and have been serving in the mess hall by cleaning up food trays when people are done eating. Thanks boys for setting such a great example!!l

Tonight at Fun Hour we were blessed with this amazing performance by Steve Eller. All of you Mylie Cyrus fans...hold on to your seats! (You can't really hear the music over all the laughter, but it is there!!!)
Another long, hot and tiring day is done. We have two more days of camp...boy does time fly!

Now that the kids are all in bed and resting peacefully (or at least pretending to be) we adults can finally get some sleep!

Wednesday!

Wednesday was a great day!!

Everyone had such a great time today with all of their class rotations and team activities. The day was long and hot, but all the kiddos had such great attitudes!

It was our first day of full class rotations and SWIM TIME! No fear at the Lagoon! So many kiddos bravely slid down the 50 foot water slide, flipped off the trapeze, and zoomed down the zip line!

In classes we learned that God always provides what we need. This was demonstrated through the stories of Manna & Quail and the Crossing of the Red Sea. It is amazing what can happen when we rely on God and trust in His promises.

The day ended on a good note with Fun Time! So many kids got up and showed us their talents. There were a lot of jokes, hand games and skits!! We've got a camp full of HAMS!

First Day of Camp!

We are all here at New Beginnings Camp and ready for an awesome week! Our theme is "Great Big God!"

Everyone is settling in with their cabins and have met their teams for the week. Each camper is part of two teams. One team is for class rotation, and it is made up of girls and boys of the same age group. The other team is for team activities and that is a group of girls and boys of all ages. Each day they will be with the same teams as they go to classes to learn about our Great Big God and learn to work together as a team to accomplish goals and tasks while having fun!

Right now all the kids are tucked in bed and resting peacefully so that they are ready for an exciting day or learning and fun tomorrow!

Please keep checking in and we will hopefully have some pictures to share!

God is Already Working for our 2010 Session!

Well, we are only a couple of weeks away from the 2010 session of New Beginnings Christian Camp! We are all getting so excited to see what the kids will teach us during the week of camp, and what He has in store for the little ones to learn.

This year, our theme is "Great Big God"! We are going to talk about a lot of stories in the Bible that show us God's might and His loving faithfulness.

We have blessed with 110 campers for this year so far. If you haven't registered for camp...Do It Now!!! You only have a few days!

If you register online, you MUST register BEFORE June 1st. Then ALL paperwork MUST be received BEFORE June 7th!

If you want to register through the mail, we MUST RECEIVE ALL paperwork BEFORE June 7th!

We hope to see your kiddos there!

God Bless!
