Friday!

Well we've entered into our last full day of camp and things couldn't be going better. The campers are having a great time and God sent us an amazing breeze this morning that's been providing a nice cool down every now and then. Today we've learned about Jehova Tsidkenu (God is our Righteousness) and Jehova Raffa (God is our Healer).

The kids are now eating lunch and getting ready for our last swim time. We'll be posting pictures from Thursday soon.

Day 3

We're right in the middle of day 3 and things have been great. Campers are thoroughly enjoying themselves in everything that we're doing. We've studied Jehovah, Jehovah Jireh, Jehovah Nissi, Jehovah Shalom so far. This morning, Oma found a big turtle and enjoyed that nice surprise this morning. We're enjoying being in God's nature that He's created for us. Pictures from day 2 are coming soon.

New Beginnings Camp 2011 Day 1 Pictures

Middle of Day 2

We're right in the middle of day 2 and the camper's are doing great. We started out with our flagpole time. From there we went to cabin clean up and breakfast. We've now gotten to go to 2 different Bible classes to learn about the various names of God. From our classes, we went to some team activity and now it's time for crafts and lunch.

After lunch we'll have some rest time and then down to the pool and lagoon. Sorry for the delay in posting the pictures, but our connection is a bit slower than expected so pictures are taking awhile to load onto the blog. We're trying to post pictures on the Twitter account so don't forget to follow nb_camp on Twitter to see up to date information. As soon as we can, we'll try to get the pictures loaded on the blog.

Day 1

Well we've had a great day so far. Registration went so smoothly! Today the campers got to start the camp off by swimming and getting to know their counselors. We then had some time of worship and team activities.

Tomorrow the campers will begin their regular camp schedules. So many of them are looking forward to the lagoon and other things to come. We'll be posting pictures soon.
